Monarchy 22A or 22B DAC for a Wadia 170i

I just added a Wadia 170i to my system (which sounds great) and now I'm looking to add an external DAC. I'm currently going directly into a surround sound receiver -- using its DAC. I would like a warmer sounding DAC because my regular system is a bit bright and unforgiving.

looking for opinions on the Monarchy 22A mostly. I'm on a tight budget (under $200)since I have $600 into buying the iPod and the Wadia already.
