MoFi DSOTM Gold CD from Japan

One of the audiophile software dealers has advertised a MoFi gold CD of DSOTM that was pressed in Japan. They claim that this Japanese pressing is extremely rare, and have priced it accordingly.

I thought that MoFi vinyl was pressed in Japan. Also, their earlier CD's, as well. Can someone clarify this fact? Or were MoFi CD's pressed in both countries, and how could one tell the labeling difference?
