MM or High Output MC, MI Cartridges. Suggestions Please.

I am about to run a second turntable in my system just for mono records. I am looking for cartridge suggestions from the AudioGon community. I am looking for high output so that I don't need an additional phono-pre or SUT.
I've found the Ortofon2 Mono and that Sound-Smith will custom make many of their carts for mono. Anyone who has had experience with these and/or any other suggestions, please post.

Thanks in advance,

The Miyajima Mono is a low-output mc cartridge. Any stereo cartridge will play mono LP's just fine! The high-output Dynavector MC's offer excellent sound at an affordable price (I have owned some)!

I prefer (LO) MC's above any MM but HO MC's have such an

increased moving mass because of (more) coil wire + iron core that

in this connection I would prefer MM kinds.

Miyajima must be the best for mono records, it's a true mono cartridge, find info about Miyajima Lab online and look for entry level mono carts (and the size of the stylus you need for your mono records).
I use a Grado M+ mono cartridge with the eliptical stylus. Serves and tracks my mono pressings perfectly at 1.5 grams and has a nice overall balance. I also have their conical stylus version and it also sounds good with the highs a bit rolled off, of course. I use that one for noisier, older pressings that weren't necessarily well cared for.
