Mixing Tube amps with Solid State for Bi-Amping?

I recently decided to try Bi-amping. I am using an SAE 2400L (in the shop being repaired) and an ST70 Welborne Labs mod along with a set of HT3's and a crossover...blah blah blah. I anticipate a great sound. I have heard similar but with a Van Alstine Mod ST70.

What do you all think of the combination?
