Miles Davis Newbe Question

I recently purchased a CD by Miles Davis titled "Love Songs".
This is the first Miles Davis music I have purchased. What would be some recommendations as to some of his best material. Thanks very much for any feedback!

I did not realize how much Miles Davis changed over the years. I am quite taken by the ballads and will pursue more of this material for now. Any favorites of ballads by John Coltrane you may want to share?
