Michell Orbe and the DC/NC PS upgrade- Worth It?

Hello,
I have a "2000" vintage Orbe with the AC motor and QC PS. The upgrade to the NEW DC motor with the NC (Never Connected) PS is $2000. Outside of the TNT review has anyone made/heard this upgrade? Is it worth it?
