MFSL Plastic Ono Band really that bad?

I was disappointed to read TAS's review of the MSFL release of Plastic Ono Band. Has anyone heard this and is it really as bad they made it out to be? Not sure what TAS is expecting. If they expect it to be on par with the early Stan Ricker mastered stuff than that is really not a fair comparison.

The mere mention of Ono always reminds me of when my sons and I were visiting the Grand Canyon and a very graying, long-haired dude drives by as we stand by our car. We wave and he gives us the peace sign. As he pulls away we notice his bumper sticker:

"STILL mad at Yoko" ! :-)
