Metrum Acoustics DACs MQA board

Metrum owners, has anyone bought the optional MQA card for their higher DACs? Experiences please. I understand it is a plug in unit, very easy to install. Also understand it fits in the higher DACs only, with the larger chassis, not in the smaller Amethyst...

Aside from comments on SQ, I would also like to know with the MQA card installed, does the unit actually confirm it is processing an MQA signal (via LED or some other means of display)?  i.e. how would we know it is working ...

Don’t want to get into a discussion about the merits of MQA (I know it is variable, even dubious)... so those of you wanting to indulge in that discussion, please don’t.  Also don't want to get into a discussion of Metrum's continuity as an ongoing concern...
