Meridian G08 repair?

Hi everyone,

 I have a Meridian G08 that has stopped reading discs.  When a cd is loaded the display says "loading", I can hear a whirring sound, but disc will not load.  Two questions, is this repairable? If so where?  Would it be worth putting money into a player this old?  I primarily listen to digital through a streamer and dac, but I would still like to be able to play discs.  Thanks in advance for any replies.
