My question is how far has the technology evolved since then? These machines were very good at the time but you can get them at a faction of their cost now. Would you buy new designs or one of these at the same cost?
Congrats, you now have a great CDP. I was using a Audioquest NRG 10 and a Kimber PK 14 Gold with my 808.2. I preferred to plug it directly into the wall vs a power conditioner.
