I'm not sure how old, or long in the tooth, my Mcintosh CD player is, but I'm considering replacing it with an Ayon CD-10. Does the technology change that much to make it worth the while?
My really old McIntosh still sounds best to my ears. I would test them side by side - you might just want to keep the Mcintosh and save money for streamer or something...
