More than enough power for your MLs.
McIntosh MC2505 enough for Martin Logan Ethos?
I just had Audio Classics restore a McIntosh C28 and MC2505... looking at buying a pair of Martin Logan Ethos.
I see they have 92dB sensitivity and can be powered with as little as 25W... seems i should be just fine with the 50W / channel output by the 2505.
That said, I’m curious what people think about this. Will 50w be enough to get these speaker speakers to sing?
