I owned a C48 awhile back, and absolutely loved it. I loved the simplicity of the preamp and it sounded great to me. Unfortunately, an un-expected financial problem arose and I had to part with it. BUT, it's on my "buy again" list sometime in the future. BTW, I've owned many Mac preamps, and this one was the best!!
