matching with Aragon 4004 MKII

Hello,

I have got a tube preamp with these spec and I wonder if it would be a good match with Aragon 4004 MKII, especially the gain. I tried to find the gain spec for the Aragon yet to no avail, even on the official website! Could someone , especailly those who have used the Aragon 4004 give me some suggestions?

My preamp:

Harmonic Distortion: Less than .02% at 2 volts RMS out.
Signal to Noise Ratio: Greater than 93 dB.
Gain: 12 dB.
Max Signal Out: 20 volts RMS.
Output Impedance: 200 ohms.
Input Impedance: 50 k Ohms.
Tubes: 3-12AU7

Aragon 4004 MKII online manual: http://www.aragonav.com/4004-mkii-mondial

Speaker: KEF C30 with 8 ohms impedence and 90db sensitivity

Thanks

Rule of thumb is a 10 to 1 ratio of the preamp's output impedance to the amp's input impedance.

Your preamp is 200 ohms and the amp is 22K ohms, so you should be fine.

Al (Almarg) is SO MUCH more adept at answering these kind of things. Maybe he will chime in. If he does, please heed his advice.
