Matching Bookshelf Speakers for Rega Mira 3 amp

Have recently inherited a Rega Mira 3 amp and Rega Apollo CD player. Need to match with bookshelf category speakers. Consdidering a Rega speaker, EPOS M-5 and the Focal JM-Lab Chrous 706V. Any suggestions or experience out there with these combinations or with a great set of speakers in this category under $1,000?

i would suggest a pair of totem acoustics rainmakers...good match with rega mira 3.

Ditto on the R1 with the Mira.. using that combo now in one of my systems

Upscale Audio has the Rega R1 for $415. Great speakers at that price, that would also match well with an all Rega system.

Someone (not me) is selling a pair of VonSchweikert VR1 bookshelves on A'Gon now for $550. I'm using VR1s with my Mira3 and it is an outstanding match. Do a search of reviews on the VR1. I think there's one at Stereo Times online.
