Matching amp for PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium preamp other than Premium HP power amp
My friend had a PrimaLuna Prologue preamp. He matched it with MC 275 and it sound great.
I wanted to add a tube sound on my system and bought Dialogue Premium preamp to match with my solid state power amps (Plinius SA102 and AR 150M.2). I did not go for the matching PrimaLuna power amp since I thought my existing power amps would be good enough, but so far I am not impressed.
I wonder whether the matching PrimaLuna power amp would bring up the synergy, or there may be another amp that will work better than PrimaLuna power amp.
Any experience with PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium preamp with other brands of power amp, either solid or tube?
Also, my Plinius SA102 is acting up and might need to be repaired/upgraded, and I wonder which option would be best: matching PrimaLuna power amp ($3K used), repair/upgrade Plinius ($2~2.5K), or some other brand (used at under 3K). Speakers I am using are Gershman Grand Avant Garde, Harbeth C7, and Tyler Linbrook signature systems.
