What is the power per channel rating of the Rotel?
If it is 100 wpc or over into 8 ohms or 4 ohms, the answer is yes. I have heard Martin Logans driven by other mid-fi level amps, such as top end Yamaha's or Sony's and quite honestly, they drove the speakers okay and sounded fine. Not High end sound for audiophiles, but they were good.
Depends on the level of sound quality you want. But, building up to a top of the world high-end system. You will like the sound.
