I haven't heard either speaker listed but... my dad has a previous generation pair of Martin Logan Motion 60xt speakers and they sound fantastic with an AV pre and external amp. From what I have read about the B&W 702's they can be picky about power and component matching (take that with a grain of salt obviously). I think there would be no question that the Martin Logan's would pair well your existing gear though. Just my 2 cents.

For those of you who have listened to these two speakers - which one do you recommend? Ignore price difference.
Listening room: 20x20x9 cubic feet
Mostly listen to soft music (classical, jazz)
They shall be powered with a Marantz SR 6014 pre-amp feeding a Parasound A21 power amp. I shall also have a set of sealed sub-woofers to help with the very low frequencies. I shall be using the Audyssey MultiEQ editor app for room correction.
