Martin Logan Aeon Good for HomeTheater?

I would suggest a used M-L Logos for the center instead of the cinema. although the theater would be better i have seen exactly 2 for sale over the past 6 months and not at a great price. Logos excellent speaker and are more available at better price

Kthomas -- you are right about the wife, I think she is starting to get a bit perturb at me hanging out in the study cruising this site:-)

Jplenhart - you just think you're glad to have found this site. As the credit card bills mount, and all the "good advice" you get leads you down the path of constant improvement and deteriorating relations with your wife, you will find that you would have been much better off never finding this site!

Seriously - this is one of the best sites on the web if you're into audio gear. You'll find almost anything you want, even if it's rare, if you just watch long enough for it. Heck, post a wanted ad and you'll probably get some offers. -Kirk

You never know what shows up on audiogon, but I haven't seen to many. However, the Caldera cables you can most certainly find here.

WOW! Thanks Craig -- I will definitely look into Audioquest here in audiogon. Out of curiosity do you think I could pick up a Martin Logan Theater here in audiogon or are they pretty much a rare sight?

Martin Logans are GREAT speakers for a home theater. I have the Odessey's for my left and right mains, the Theater for my center channel, Aeon's for surrounds, and two Velodyne HGS 15 subs. I use Krell amps and a Krell processor. My speaker cables are Audioquest Volcano Biwire. (A great cable but a little expensive). I would Highly recommend audioquest Caldera's for your speaker cables. You should be able to them up as demo's or slightly used on audiogon in your price range. I think your proposed setup will be very nice. However, I would highly recommend that you consider using the Martin Logan Theater for you center channel instead of the cinema. I does cost more, but it's worth every penny. The center channel is so very important in a theater.
