Marc Moulin Fans?
I have to admit that I’ve never heard of Marc Moulin. Mainly because I didn’t really even know what type of music it was.
I ran across a vinyl vendor that had a couple of sealed LPs on the Music On Vinyl label, (I have several hundred MOV titles and have had great luck with them. Most sound superb). These are "Entertainment" & "I Am You". They are a limited edition, numbered and on really cool colored vinyl versions. The collector side of me decided to give them a try. Even if the music sucked, they were well worth the $9.99 each I paid for them.
Well, to my somewhat surprise, (wasn’t sure what the music was), I LOVE these! I was taken aback with the music and thoroughly enjoyed the songs. The pressings were a little noisy, (surface noise), but threw a wide, deep sound-stage and were very well recorded.
Needless to say, I’m now a major fan of Marc Moulin and am looking for more of his work...
