Marantz NA 7004 bugfest
I feel that I should report a negative evaluation of the Marantz NA 7004 Music
Server. This is an error ridden player that has been giving me fits. It is rare to be able to sit through a session of listening to Internet Radio or listening to High rEz vfiles via USB before ultimately the machine conks out, always sending a message about the connection dropping out or the files aren't supported (after they have been playing them for a while).
I use a wired ethernet connection that has not been a problem with any other
equipment. I have done every firmware upgrade and I am giving up on the unit.
A shame, because before it dies, it does a nice job with High REz files.
