Marantz DVD930 as transport?

Anybody have any experience using this as a dedicated transport for redbook in a 2 channel system?
I've got one handy in my A/V system and was considering it in lieu of buying a cheap Pioneer Elite DVD or something similar to use with a non-oversampling DAC such as Ack, Scott Nixon or Audio Mirror. Cheers,
