Marantz AV8003 - fix or replace?

I have a Marantz AV8003 that has an intermittent problem with the left channel dropping out. I am guessing I should think about replacing it for the sake of an update to functionality and compatibility.
I am running a Parasound HCA2200H and a Parasound HCA1203A for 5 channel system plus sub. Primary speakers are Magnepan 1.7.
I'm looking for good value. Am hoping there is a reasonable "preamp only" solution; don't need power. Would also like Audyssey setup.
