Marantz 2230 what would new caps do?

Have a stock amp that plays well, but
Base is noticeably lacking.

Would new caps help this?
Who would be good source to to the work?

If I went to a newer amp with a subwoofer output would the newer amp have a subwoofer signal when playing LPs ?
