Marantz 1180 DC Questions
I've got a Marantz 1180 DC integrated amp that is just sitting and have a couple questions that the fourm members can be of help with so here goes;
1) Does anyone out there do updates (or upgrades) to this type of vintage equipment (such as new caps or etc) and if so how can I contact them?
2) If I were to upgrade would you consider this a good match with my Apogee Slant 6s and ARC CD 2 for staging and detail? If so do you think it would (could) produce enhanced results over my current Classe CAP 151 that I use?
3) Would it be enough current and reserve to satisfy the Apogee needs (nominal impedance 6 ohms)?
