Maplenoll Ariadne questions.

Hi

how long the white plastic pin at the center of the stationary sub platter ( on which the other sub platter sit on top and spin )in maplenoll Ariadne should be? 

Mine is broken

does it have to be plastic, or can it be stainless steel ( easier to find)
