Magnetic repulsion?

Has anyone installed magnets to the plinth and bottom of the platter?
I am considering this and have posted an ad here related to this.

Cart is very sensitive to magnetic field. Unless your cart is well shielded, given the close proximity to strong magnetic field, the result could be disastrous.
