Magnepan Speaker Cable Connections

Hello,

I have a question for Maggie owners out there that own models that lack cable terminals and instead have a length of wire coming from the base of the speaker that you must connect to.
What method have you had the most success with?
I am considering going with a "pin" type of cable termination and using silver solder to attach the bare cable to the pin. Anyone have any advice?
