Magnepan 1.7i with Acurus 150 watt amp
Would my old Acurus 150 amp which works like new push the Magnepan 1.7i speakers well or at least adequately? I’d love to get a pair of these speakers. I hear that the Maggie’s need a high current amp. Is the Acurus 150 watt amp a high current amp? I also have a old pair of Quicksilver V4 135 watt monoblocks which I think are high current but need some work. Would these work with 1.7i ‘s? Thank you very much for any input.
