Mac MC301 mono

I’ve been looking to move from my MC275 tube (current model) amp to one of Mac’s SS amps. My dealer has a nice set of used MC301 mono, quad balanced amps 300wpc. I’ve not heard of these and wondering how they stack up to the larger stereo amps like the mc462 l, 452, etc. the look of the smaller amps is fine for me, I don’t care if they look like the bigger stereo amps. Maybe that’s why they are cheaper then expected. whats your thoughts on the sound quality of these 2016-2019 amps

have 94bd 8ohm speakers so i don’t need the extra power the larger SS amps would have. 
 

I have taken them home on loan and they do sound quite nice.
