I just stream Spotify Connect to the speakers from a laptop, phone or Ipad. It works quite well for me. I have only used the app for the DSP speaker settings and don't need it otherwise.
LS50W Is the KEF App really that awful?
Going to buy a pair of LS50W. All I hear is how bad the KEF App is. Is an additional streamer really necessary? Is it truly that awful? I'd prefer to be able to just let the speakers do the streaming. Will use Spotify Connect and Tidal.
If I were to also get the bluesound Node2I (for example) what would be the most effective high res way to connect it to those particular speakers?
