The entry level Wharfedale's are good choices also. I have a small pair of their original EVO-3 towers in piano black. Have them in a second system. They are 16 years old and still going strong. My wife absolutely loves them. :-)

Looking around for a loudspeaker retailing for $1000.00 per pair and came upon the ELAC UF-5 which
retail for the $1000.00, designed by Andrew Jones and are looking to audition them. 'Does anybody heard these speakers or have any knowledge with regard to them or are there any other speakers in this price range that
you can recommend. The reviews on this 3 way 3 foot high tower sound incredible.
