looking for a recommendation on adjustable height metal speaker spikes

hello,

i plan to use 2 oak logs to raise my tower speakers to ear level.

as the logs bottom & top are not 100% parallel, i’m looking to install 4 spikes between floor & log stand (in addition to silicon pads between log stand & speaker).

am looking for an affordable & adjustable set of spikes, to make up for uneven log finish. is a ½" adjustment height to be found?

thanks,

alvin

Sound Anchors stands/racks for speakers, amps, and electronics come with a very simple threaded spike that can be locked in place with a nut once an appropriate position or height is established. These are essentially threaded ramset anchors with a thread size of 3/8-16 inches, although you can find them with a 1/4-20 inch thread size too.

I have used these, Audio Points, edenSound Bear Paws, and a few other no-brand type spikes under various speakers and perceived no distinguishable difference in sound quality between them. However, the APs and Bear Paws were more difficult to level since a trial and error approach using spacers was necessary because of the absence of a locking nut.
