Long time music lover looking for new music.

Now I'm fast approaching the half century mark. I started listen to music as a kid playing my mom's 45. Beatles, Ricky Nelson, Elvis, Frank Sinatra etc. I've never stopped. I moved overseas 7 years ago and don't listen to the radio here. I'm looking for some new music especially Indie Rock.
Here are some that I found that I can recommend. Thanks to all of you that respond in advance.

Some I have found

3 Rounds And A Sound
Bat For Lashes - Two Suns
Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago
Brendan Benson - My Old, Familiar Friend
Dan Auerbach-Keep It Hid
Death_Cab_For_Cutie-Narrow_Stairs
Doves - Kingdom Of Rust
Eef Barzelay - Bitter Honey
Elliott Smith-XO and Either_or
The Avett Brothers- I and you and love
Iron & Wine - Our Endless Numbered Days
Jack's Mannequin- Everything In Transit
Lambchop - Damaged
M. Ward - Post-War
Monsters of Folk - Monsters Of Folk
My Morning Jacket - Evil Urges
Nada-Surf - Lucky
Noah And The Whale - Peaceful
One Eskimo-All Balloons
Sera Cahoone
Shearwater - Rook
The National-Boxer and Alligator

I hope some of you can enjoy these as I am.

Thanks a lot. I have already started checking some of them out and enjoying them. I also like some of the new stuff that has the folk feel to it. I really love the acoustic guitar. I also like Big band and female jazz also. Really a lot of everything. But I still listen to the Rock primarily.
Thanks guys. I guess the stuff I listed in not to main stream now? Like I said I never listen to the radio and I've only learned about the music by word of mouth or just checking out stuff on Amazon or cross referencing using Wikipedia. I have to say that the Indie Rock/Folk whatever it's called is really good. When I left the States I didn't see much really new good music. As I said I like pretty much all music but this Indie Genre is a lot of fun.
Nice list Bongofury. That will keep me busy for a while. I have already started on Heyitsmedustys. Good stuff. There is so much good new music coming out on small labels or self produced. It's nice to give them exposure as well. I think a lot more people would like to hear the stuff if they knew how to get it. Heyitsmedusty maybe you could tell them about the download site you told me about. $20 dollars a month is very fair for downloading a lot of new music.
A nice website that Dusty told me about which is excellent to cross reference your music is allmusic.com It tells you about the band and gives you a list of artists with similar style music.
Yes I just learned about allmusic.com after I started this thread and I just heard about pitchfork last weekend but I've been busy at work and haven't had much time to really check it out. Before I was just using amazon.com and wikepeda. I did find a lot of music I really liked but I had to work for it. You guys have made life easy on this old music lover. But now I'm busy listening to all this new stuff. I love it. Keep them coming.
