Linn Mimik vs. Arcam Alpha 9

Hello all. Looking for some thoughts on these two quality
vintage players. I have dramatically downsized, and am considering these two cd players to use with a Luxman R-117
receiver. Greatly appreciate any thoughts and or comments.

Hello, as a dealer I have sold and owned both for years during their prime. While the Mimik is a decent player, there is simply no way it is as good as the Aplha 9. The Alpha 9 was a giant killer at a low price point. HTH

Thanks Timtim for your input. I remember these two players
when they were current models and my inclination was in favor of the Alpha 9 anyway. I am happy though, to get an informed opinion on this. Thanks.
