LINN Kaber tweeter upgrade

I have up graded to the new tweeters on my aktive Kabers & the results are pectacular.
The new tweeters are smoother more detailed & give more sense of space & time between the preformers, This is the best upgrade for the money that you can do for your Kabers

I HAVE KEILIDH WITH K-100S ACTIVE AND REPLACED THE TWEETER AND HEARD IMMEDIATELY MORE DETAIL....BUT LET THE DEALERSHIP DO THE WORK BECAUSE THE UNIT IS EASY TO REPLACE BUT LINN WANTS THE CONNECTION TO BE FILLED WITH LINN PASTE FOR PROPER CONNECTION

I have Keilidhs and a pair of self-made Kabers both with the 3-bar ceramic dome tweeter. (I made the kabers from parts that were leftover from other's upgrades using MDF - they look a bit like the audio physic Tempo3's) I have heard the Ninkas with the new tweeter but I'm not sure if it is an improvement or just a different type of sound. It certainly has more sparkle, but the ceramic tweeter has a smoothness that I'm not sure I would be able to live without. Have you made the switch yet?

By the way, looks like some nice work your firm is doing. Coincidentally I'm an architect (intern) as well. I'm from Vancouver, worked in Boston and will be moving to Seattle in the next year or so.

Only thing I'm not so sure about on the web-page is the reference to Macdonalds - "full meal deal" - though it's kind of funny in an ironic sort of way.

Hi Nick I as well have an all Kaber system and have upgraded to the new tweeters, the difference is incrediable its the best upgrade for the price..way smoother in the highs better channel separation and depth and you could do it yourself if you don't mind the extra work..run to your nearest Linn dealer and get the new tweets you won't regert it!!
