I have an Ekos and Benz Ruby3. No problem with the weight. I have a stylus force guage to set the weight at 1.9g and that works comfortably within the adjustment range.

Linn Ekos and Benz?
I note that many users of the Ekos tonearm also use upper end Benz cartridges. The Linn website suggests that the upper-end of recommended cartridge weight for the Ekos is 9 grams, yet the wood body Benzes weigh in somewhat above that (i.e. 9.6 grams or so). Are there any issues with balancing the Ekos with greater weight-- or straining the bearings-- or is Linn conservative in their recommendation?
