Linn av 5140s active or espeks?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help me, i have heard varying different reports on the differences between the av 5140s and the espeks some say the espeks are better and some say they are just different and its down to preference. can any one tell me if i go active with my av5140s will this make a bigger difference to the difference between the av5140s and the espeks both passive?
