Levinson ML12 service

Recently purchased a used ML12 preamp (no opportunity to check operating condition prior to purchase). Left channel is fine, right channel is very low and distorted. Anybody have a tech they would recommend to service this pre, who will do so without charging an arm and a leg? I am in the Raleigh NC area. I can ship but would prefer not to (the ML12 uses CAMAC connectors and is powered by the ML11 power amp, tech would need both pieces in order to service - I could ship both, but it would be both costly and risky.) Any help much appreciated! Balthus
