It always cracks me up when I read negatives about Legacy speakers being bright or hard sounding. That's the beauty of the internet - it's there forever. I have owned Legacy for over 25 years now and never has one set of speakers sounded bright. Honestly, my OG Focus sounded almost dull. I ended up replacing the soft domes for some better extension and I had inquired with RAAL about custom making a set of ribbons to drop right in. But thankfully I sold them before dropping all that money with RAAL. The current Focus SEs are awesome speakers. Two bass drivers produce deeper, tighter and lower bass than the old three driver models. Trust me.
