Leaving components on

Is it safe to leave the adapter of the turntable plugged in? Or it would be better to unplug it?

After I turn off the platter -an old Oracle that I bought second hand- I leave the power source plugged in . I wonder if it is harmful -the power source remains warm- to leave it like that.
