Lateral or upward upgrade?

Quick question, hopefully

I’m looking to upgrade my turntable. I currently have a Rega RP3 with the Elys 2 cartridge and the Rega PSU.

Would the Mobile Fidelity Ultra Deck with Master Tracker cartridge be a lateral movement, or an upgrade?

Hang on and save a while longer. Make a bigger jump like the RP10 with a Goldring 1042 or an AT VM760SLH. Up a little higher is the Sota Sapphire with your choice of arm.
