Lamzator Amber 2 DAC

Anyone been tube rolling this DAC? I'm open to Ideas for tubes and upgrades. Thanks.

If you notice, there are production date labels affixed along the cover and the chassis which will break if you remove the cover. If you bought the unit new, you might compromise your warranty if the labels are not intact. I personally would only consider changing the tubes if one fails or they are old beyond the warranty period.
Well it seems like Lampzator does not approve of tube rolling with this model, that's why the tube are inside. Oh well it still sounds great. Cheers.
I have the Amber DAC II, the Amero USB driver I downloaded for it to work with the USB port, has a switch to "pass though MQA" to disable software decoding of MQA.  I dont really understand what it does, I'm happy with with as is. Cheers.
tubes1988, does your Amber II play Tidal MQA content? I know it doesn't process/unfold MQA content but curious to hear if it even plays that content.
I've been trying to get some input for the tube options for my Amber DAC over at their forum from the owners but with no luck. There are a couple of open threads on the subject. LampizatorNA doesn't encourage owners to open the chassis and/or change tubes and provides no input when asked about tube choices. I suppose they expect the owners ship their DACs to Poland if/when a tube fails or needs replacement due to age.
I am now interested in the Lampizator Amber II dac and wondering how both dacs compare in terms of sound quality itunes login.
Thanks, I went there and registered, but could find no Lampizator  forums. I left a post for some help.
No direct experience rolling in that DAC (but I have on three other Lampi DAC's).  I'd recommend you check out the Lampizator group over at audiocircle's website.  I found it a wealth of tube rolling experience for the ones I was working with.  Enjoy your DAC!
