lampizatOr Horizon DAC

In the LampizatOr Horizon 'reveal' and comparison, does 'Wilgolf' remember what INPUTS were used in the Horizon? (and, in the comparison DAC?)

My experience with P.S. Audio's Perfect Wave DAC Mk II, is that the HDMI input (if your transport can support it), is the best sounding??

I have a Horizon ordered from Poland, for weeks now.

Thank you Wilgolf for a fine review.

Always appreciated,

-Craig

I hope to hear from Wilgolf as to my INPUT(s) used for the demonstration.

Thank you,

-Craig

Regarding the LampizatOr Horizon and its inputs, it's best to refer to the product documentation or contact LampizatOr directly to inquire about the specific capabilities and features of the device. They will be able to provide you with accurate information regarding the inputs and whether the device remembers the previously used inputs.
Regarding your experience with the P.S. Audio Perfect Wave DAC Mk II and its HDMI input, it's important to note that the sound quality and preference can vary based on individual preferences, system setup, and audio sources. While HDMI inputs can provide high-quality audio transmission, it's always recommended to audition and compare different inputs and sources to determine the best sound for your specific setup and preferences.  mybkexperience

Thank you for your help in my question for Willgolf.

My interest was specifically whether the HDMI INPUT (the only input on any DAC to support raw SACD information, and improved-sounding Red Book CD's), was used in the comparison, at the private home reveal.  Not only would both units sound better, but (provided the Pacific accepts HDMI), regardless of which unit sounded better at the house, both units should have revealed an additional level of sonic performance to the host and maybe some of the attendees.

I still would like to hear from Willgolf if he knows anything about the aforementioned??

Again, many thanks for both parties that have responded, so far.  Just wonderful that our audio community shines (rather than some of the unnecessary IMHO comments that Willgolf was agitated by).

Regards to All,

-Craig
