I purchased an L1 3 years ago; it has always worked perfectly. I own lamm mono blocks as well, and can say the for them.

I've been told by someone (who's supposed to have a good knowledge of Lamm products) that the L1 Lamm preamp was known to cause many problems with its power section (and the further L2 and LL2 have been design differently so that they solve those problems).
Has anyone a point of view to share about the Lamm L1 reliability ?
