Looking at a KRC vintage line of preamp to integrate with newly obtained Krell amp and would like to know if the optional phono stage CCA is available from Krell. If not are they an item that appears only as a KPE in a separate box?  Sorry but I’ve long owned McIntosh and my experience with Krell is only at a beginner level. Also, I’ve never owned a line stage preamp so a bit trepidatious given no features on these preamps that I am accustomed to like loudness, bass and treble. The reason I’m looking for a different preamp is for XLR connection points (all my current preamps are RCA only). Look forward to hearing your comments and thanks in advance.
