I would call Krell and see if they have an opinion.
If I couldn't get a definitive answer, I would go for the mono's for two reasons:
1. In my conversations with Dan D'Agostino, he really seems to lean toward his mono amps.
2. The mono's will be much lighter and easier to properly position (which may also save money on speaker cables), move (should you), and ship.
