klipsh forte III purchase

I’m eyeballing a pair too. I’m wondering if a RP-250C would work for a center to use them for some HT duty as well? At the high $2k-low $3k range there are a lot of options especially if you consider used. Are the Forte IIIs worth it?

I understand with the Forte distance from the rear wall is important. What is that in regards to the Forte III? I’ll have about 3’ on each side of them, about 6’ between and about 2’ to the rear. Amp is a Parasound Halo A23.

My two favorite speakers as I was getting into audio back in the 80s as a kid were KEF 104.2s and Klipsch Fortes. I can only imagine how good an upgraded Forte sounds. My search begins.

tute, thanks for the input on the center but I can only fit the 250 where it needs to go. This is just for a simple 5.1 setup.

I saw a local pair of Forte IIs for $400ish that I’m thinking about. I could swap my older KEF Reference Model Twos for them to tide me over for Forte IIIs. Hmmm.
