Klipsch RP-502S in std stereo setup?

Hello to all...

Thoughts please:
Why not use the Klipsch RP-502 Surround Sound Speakers (or the Discoed 250s) as fronts in a standard 2channel stereo setup?
Could work close-up to a back wall, might present a deep wide soundstage?
Kinda like the Bose concept of forward (and side) sound radiation...
Room about 15' wide: I'd set them up about 10' apart center to center, and 10-12' to my listening point across
