Klipsch Mod

I've upgraded the crossovers and internal wiring, lined the cabinets with anti-vibration sheets, upgraded the speaker connectors and I'm about to solder the speaker connections. (Waiting for Crites titanium tweeter diaphragms to be back in stock). Im considering putting in a high frequency attenuator like you see in older speakers like altec lansing santanas, Sony HPM 100s, etc. What do you think?

You want L Pads, not Pots. L Pads do not alter the impedance, Pots do. My L-Pads from Parts Express are 16 ohm for my 16 ohm speakers.

Speakers are like blind people who have been kidnapped. They do not know where they are being taken/kept. Possibly moved to a different hangout at any time.

I am a big fan of adjusting mids to the woofer and adjusting tweeters to the mids: in the space they will be used, for the ears that will be hearing them.

I use a SPL meter on a tripod at listening position and take my time with this CD’s test tones. Last time took 1-1/2 days, they never sounded better!

Pots are better than no control, I restored two pairs of AR-2ax's, replaced original pots with new pots on 1 pair for my office and refurbed original Pots for the pair in my Garage/Shop system. And a member here send me a full set of good original Pots as spares. Thanks again for that generosity!
